Training Workshop for Journalists
The Population Secretariat successfully carried out a training workshop for various Journalists/Presenters from Radio and Print media houses on the benefits of having Manageable Families.
The Population Secretariat signed MOUs with ten FM radio stations across the country to sensitize communities on the benefits of having manageable family sizes. Print journalists also participated in the training where they have been urged to bring out clearly the inter linkages between population and development in their reporting.
