World Population Day 2012 national function was held in Hoima district on July 11, 2012, under the theme: “Make Acess to Reproductive Health Services a Priority; Address Key Challenges”.
The main celebrations were attended by over 1200 people, comprising policy makers, government technocrats, district leaders, civil society representatives, development partners and the genaral populace. The function was presided over by Hon. Amama Mbabazi, the Prime Minister for Uganda.
