World Population Day 2019 Celebrations
Each year, on July 11, Uganda joins the rest of the world to commemorate World Population Day. This annual event is observed to focus on the importance of population and development issues.
This year’s celebrations will be held in Adjumani District at the Adjumani District Stadium under the theme: “Renewing the Promise: Empowering Uganda’s Youth to drive Socio-Economic Transformation”.
The guest of honour will be His Excellence the President of Uganda Mr. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni
